Hairy Buttercup - Ranunculus sardous
This plant is poisonous.
Height up to 40cm (16in). A rather local hairy annual. Restricted to England, Wales and Southern Scotland and often found on coastal grassland. Lower leaves divided into three lobes. Pale yellow flowers are 15-25mm (0.6-1in) across and appear May to September. The sepals are folded back.
