Common Mouse Ear - Cerastium fontanum
Family - Caryophyllaceae

Grows to 30cm (12in) but more often less.  Widespread and very common annual species found in damp and moist conditions of disturbed and bare ground, grassland and gardens.  opposite paired leaves grey–green in colour.  Small white flowers in clusters at the top of the stems appearing April to October.  The whole plant is hairy & can be sticky, it has a yellow–green colouration.
